displayed on the premises effected thereby during the period of

3% That this Permit is valid for a period of 1 2 mos. which is considered to be the
sufficient time required to complete the work involved, but should dro,mqtances warrant, request
for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date.
4.~ That this Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permirtee wishes
to maintain the ~rucrure or projec~ in-~olved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned tha~ anth-
otizarion was originally obtained.
5L That .the work involved will be subjec~ to the inspection and approval of the Board or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originafing.application~ may be ,'~,~e for
revocation of this Permit by resuintion of the said Board.
6. That there will he no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein au&orized. --
7.. That there shall be no interference with the fight of the public to pass and mp~ along
the beach between high and low water marks.
8. That if future operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or alterations
in the location of the work herein authorized, or fi, in the opinion of the Board of T~ees, th*
work shall came unreasonable obstraCaon to free navigation, the said Permittee will be required,
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses tu the Town
of Southold.
9. That the said Board will be notified by the Permittee ot the completion of the work anth-
o_,{zed. (See tear off sheet.)
10. That the Permittee will obtain ali other permits and consents Omt may be required sup-
plemental,~o, this permit which may be subject to revoke upon failure to obt~;- s~me.

I have spoken to Board President Henry P. Smith, who advised
that I forward to you a Grandfather Application for your deck
structure in Mattituck.
Please fill out the application and remit to this
office along with a $5.00 filing fee for same. Please
include a sketch with the sizes of the structure.
We await your application, If I can assist you, in the
future, please call at the number listed above.
