Gould & wife Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one'story, framed dwelling. I let myself into building with key which was left on premises and began this inspection at approximately 1:30 P.M. The building consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen~ and dining area, half bathroom consisting of toilet and lavatory, and a small room with bunk beds. Building has no central heating system and is constructed on cement block piers. This inspection covers the original building. The two bedrooms, living room and enlargement of dining area were added under Building Permit #2878Z dated September 27, 1965, pursuant to which Certificate of Occu- pancy #Z2570, dated October 25, 1966, was issued to former owner, H. W. Johnston. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, were found: Sleeping Room: Bathroom: Heating: two bunk beds, room size six foot, six inches by five foot, six inches, total square foot area, 25.75, Article II, Section 52-22 A 1 (Maximum Occupancy) and Article II, Section 52-24 2 (Habit- able Space). no tub or shower within dwelling, Article V, Section 52-51 D 2 c. no central heating system, occupancy sea- sonal, Article V, Section 52-53 A 1 (State Building Construction Code, Section C504-1 General Requirements, Amended 6/8/72. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in DOPLICATE to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2.Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings end "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey.of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
