RESOLVED that the Southold Town Trustees APPROVE the request made by Richard Fiedler to replace existing catwalk with a new timber one, to be constructed to the same size and in place, the existing structure to remain as is. Property is located at 1380 Beach Road, Greenport. Please remit a $25.00 fee for this request. Upon receipl of same your permit will be forwarded by mail. Please note that this determination is not a determination made for any other agency that may have iurisdiction in this matter. Y. 11971 RICH FIEDLER 427 Seventh Str~e~ Greenport, New York 11944 (516) 477-0485 (516) .477-1665 Nov. 19, 1987 I am asking for a waiver of the wetland ordinance in order to obtain a permit for the replacement of a 33 foot catwalk ~nd four poles that secure my floating docks. (circa 1960) I do not have a permit for the current do~ks as they have been in place for over 20 years. My proposal is to remove the ten poles, now used to secure the floating docks and replace them with four, which Gresnport Dock said would be adequate. I also propose to remove the existing timber catwalk and replace it with ~ new timber one using ~he exact dimentions and placement of the existing one, Fags (1) shows the existing catwalk and floating docks, Red indicating placement of proposed catwalk and four new poles. If the removal of the old poles and a portion of the floating doeke becomes a problem getting ~ permit (page 2) th~n I will leave the docks as is (page 3) The accompanying photos show the existing catwalk and floating docks in question.
