The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Administrative
Amendment to Wetland Permit#4210 for the as-built 6'x20' floating dock in lieu of the
permitted 5'x20' floating dock, and as depicted on the project plan prepared by Michael
Giacone, received on November 27, 2018, and stamped approved on January 16, 2019.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not an approval from any other agency.

At the July 22 meetin9 of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council. the following recommendations were adopted:
Moved by John Holzapfel, seconded by Robert Keith, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL
WITH STIPULATIONS of Wetland Application of MATTHEW
McKIERNAN 86-5-11.5 to construct a 1 1/2 .story residence. All
material is to be redistributed on property to establish proper
grade. Construct a [~' x 50' catwalk over marshland (to be minimum
3' over reeds in meadow) and install post to secure small boat.
The Council recommends approval provided the house is located at
least 75' from the wetlands. The Council recommends approval of the
dock provided it does not hinder navigation.

of marsh) walk; 3' x 16' hinged ramp; 6' x 10' float with 6' x 30'
outer float arranged in "T" configuration. A 4' wide x 60' +/- path
to be cut through brush on slope leading to dock and surfaced with
wood chips.

16{ hinged ramp; 6' x 16' float secured by two pilings. Place
approximately 10 c.y. of sand and grade into a berm approximately 3'
wide at the base and 1.5' high to extend the width of the parcel (68
+/- '1. above AHW and wetlands. Following grading, berm will be
planted with Ammorphilia breviligulata on 18" centers. Purpose of
berm is to prevent occasional flooding of upland as occurred during
12/92 and 3/93.
The Council recommends disapproval of the berm because it could
destroy the existing marsh. The Council recommends approval of
the dock.
