POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 382. Authorize and direct that a reimbursement fee of $.30 per mile be made to Southold Town Beach Managers and Lifeguards. 383. Authorize modification to the General Fund Part Town 2002 budget for overtime earnings in the Building Department. 384. Authorizes the closure of Love Lane, Mattituck, June 23, 2002, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. to facilitate the trimming of trees on Love Lane. 385. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign the Downtown Revitalization Program's Round I amendment. 386. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk's Office to issue free beach parking permits to certain beach employees. 387. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign a Lease Agreement with the Oysterponds Union Free School District for park facilities improvements. 388. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriate donated money to purchase supplies and furnishings for the Adult Day Care Program. 389. Authorize and direct the Cutchogue Fire District to achieve the installation and hookup of a new well in a location to be determined by landfill consulting engineers Dvirka & Bartilucci. Amend resolution #374, adopted at the June 3, 2002 meeting, to change the starting date of Christopher Lappe to May 2, 2002. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement to engage the firm of Troy & Banks Consultants, LLC to conduct an audit of cable franchise fees. Accept the resignation of George R. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for State Assistance, Municipal Landfill Closure Program. Amend the landfill closure contract with Dvirka & Bartilucci to include the task of"Eastern Grading and Drainage Plan Re-Design" and to create a budget for such task. Set 3% COLA pay increases in hourly wage rates for certain part-time personnel of the Fishers Island Ferry District, and set 13% pay increase in hourly wage rate for Mark Chanski. Gram permission to Det. Beth Dzenkowski to attend the New York Police Juvenile Officers Association quarterly meeting in Binghamton June 7-8, 2002. Authorize and direct Island Group Administration to pay the medical bill of a former employee, which bill was submitted by the provider more than 30 days after services. Appoint 2002 seasonal summer staff for the period June 22 - September 2, 2002. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a revised grant agreement with the US Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, for Elizabeth Field, F.I. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an extension agreement with the NYS Department of State for Community Project #TM 00958. Determine that the purchase of the property of Adamowicz and others, SCTM # 1000-121- 5-4.1 would have no significant impact on the environment. Set 8:00 p.m., July 2, 2002, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on the purchase of the property of Michael Adamowicz and others, Sound Avenue, Mattituck, SCTM #1000-121-5-4.1. Approve the reduction in the amount of the performance bond to $60,425 for the Minor Subdivision "Baxter Sound Estates", Oregon Road, Cutchogue, SCTM #1000-72-2-2.1; and approve the administration fee for this minor subdivision in the amount of $3,625. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to enter into an agreement to engage the services of Lisa Kombrink to assist the Town in revising its Subdivision Ordinance and related legal matters at a cost not to exceed $5,000. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2002 budget for miscellaneous equip- ment and services. Engage the services of Nelson, Pope & Voorhis to perform SEQRA environmental review on the change of zone application of Quad Associates. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to enter into an agreement to engage the services of Harvey Arnoff as outside council to assist the Board of Ethics Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute all necessary documents to retain the firm of Nelson, Pope and Voorhis to conduct all aspects of the SEQRA review on proposed amendments to RO, HB and B zoning districts.
