New bulkhead will be 18" higher than existing. Approx. 50 c.y. of spoil will be placed behind bulkhead as backfill. Construct a 20'.X 40' swimming pool and decks landward of bulkhead as shown on site plan of Van Tuyl. Additional 75+/- c.y. of sand will be trucked in from upland source. Board did not approve the dredging part of this application as they feel a more lengthy review is necessary. Therefore if you wish to move ahead with dredging please fill out % separate application and fee. Permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable~ and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. The new bulkhead will be 18 inches higher than the existing one. Dredge 10 feet seaward of the replacement bulkhead to a depth of 3 feet below mean low water, removing approximately 50 cubic yards of material to be used as backfil] behind the replacement bulkhead. All work will be performed in accordance with the attached drawings. The time limit for completing the work authorized ends on February 27, 1998 . If you find that you need more time to complete the authorized activity, submit your request for a t/me extension to this office for consideration at least one month before the above date is reached. 2. You must maintain the activity authorized by this permit in good condition and in conformance with the terms and condi- tions of this permit. You are not relieved of this requirement if you abandon the permitted activity, although you may make a good faith transfer to a third party in compliance with General Condition 4 below. Should you wish to cease to maintain the authorized activity or should you desire to abandon it without a good faith transfer, you must obtain a modification of this permit from this office, which may require restoration of the area. 3.
