The following action was taken by the Board of Southold Town
TrusTees at a regular meeting held January I1, 1983:
RESOLVED To recommend to the Southold Town Board approval o£ the
wetland application ~116 of Lawrence D. Byron, Jr., ~o construct
a cavwalk, ramp and floating dock according to the revised appli-
cation buT, because the dock extended so far into the creek, The
Trustee~ have limited the length invo the water to 50 ft To
correspond with neighboring docks to the north and south.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEILMIT ~'
A. This application is to be completely filled in by typewriter or ink and submitted to the Town
Clerk Jn quadruplicate, accompanied by writter' permission from the owner of the property jf not
the some as the applicant.
B. Pilot Plan must be drown to scale on the reverse side of this application showing the location
of property, the names end locations of owners of adjoining properties, and a detoi|ed description
of proposed project. (Note: Copies of the Pilot Plan may be made ay a copy machine and a~;uched
to the Permit Application.') ~
C. No operation shall be initiated b~ the applicant until all permits that ore required are issued.
D. A detailed statement of the rehabilitation and proposed condition of the premises after the
work is completed must be given, including a survey if required.
E. If permit is being sought for a more sizeable excavation than the construction of a private
single dock or jetty, then this application must be accompanied by a survey and topographical map
certified by a registered land survey or Professional Engineer. 'Fha horizontal control of survey
shell be based upon on approval local coordinate system. The vertical control far elevation and sound-
ings shall be based upon United States Coast and Geodetic Survey and/or United States Geological
Survey datum.
F. ^ statement must accompany the application describing any known prior operations conducted
on the premises in question and whether any prior licenses or permits have been issued ~o erect
structures or to dredge or deposit fill on said premises and whether any such permits or licenses
were ever revoked or suspended by a governmental agency.
G. A filing fee of $25.00 shall accompany the application. This filing fee includes one inspection.
