Dear Sir:
We request, on behalf of Mrs. Byrnes, that a permit be granted
on an emergency basis to repair, rebuild, restore, or replace
structures, landscape features, and grading lost, damaged, or
destroyed in the storm of December 1~-~2, 1992. The major
items are listed below. Dimensions and areas are approximate.
35' of wood bulkhead
Cap board on 65' of wood bulkhead
350 sq. ft. wood deck
Wood stairs to beach
Wood stairs to grade above
Concrete/stone stairs to grade above
Concrete/stone retaining wall
Structural repairs to wood frame beach house
Soil fill as needed
Grass, hedge, shrubs, trees
Southold Trustees Permit No. 3985 was issued on 2/28/92 for
work, mainly on the 65' westerly portion of the bulkhead,
which was completed some time ago. The permit was issued to
John R. Crossley, who was Mrs. Byrnes' late father.
Photographs of the site are attached, as is a copy of a survey
of the property.
