parr of the consideration for the issuance of the Permit does unclemtand and p~xibe to the fol-
lowing:
1. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold are released from an7 and
all damage% or dalm~ for damage~ of suits arising directly or indirectly as a result of any ope. r-
adon performed pursuant to this permit, and the said Permitter will, at his or her ow~ expense,
defend any and all such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permitree assume~ full llabili~

2. That this Permit is valid for a period of mos. which is comidererl to be the

5. That this Permit should he retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permitter wishes
to maintain the structure or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that auth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That .the work involved will be subject to the inspection and approval of the Board or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the originating application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by resolution of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorired.
6. That there shall be no interference with the right of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and low water marks.
7. That ff future operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or alterations
in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, in the opinion of ~ Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstmcnon to free namgatton, the 'smd Penmttee will be require~
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses to the Town
of Southold.

its regular meeting held on Thursday, January 17, 1991:
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees APPROVE the request for a waiver to
construct an 18' X 30' deck at property located off of West Harbor.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on the
need for any other permits which may be required for this project.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The permittee shah file in the office of the appropriate Regional
permit Administrator, a notice ol intention to commence work at least 48
