The initial application fee for a dock is $5.00, the balance of the fee will be based o~ 10¢ per sq. ft. of the approved size. The proposed addition to your home would go t~ough the Building Department. The next meeting o£ the Board of Southotd Town Trustees will be held om August 9, 1976. Neville, Thank you for your letter of the 22nd and also the enclosures pertaining to filing an application for a dock/deck. I am returning these to you completed as best as I can presently estimate and hope these will be satisfactory to you. At this moment, unfortunately, I can only guess as to the size deck/dock that I would like to erect -- many times I do th~se things by "eye" and if it looks t~tiny or too big make the necessary adjustments. Again, I would be hopeful that it will measure between 10-1Z' X 15'-20'. Is that close enough. ~he deck/dock vi 11 be permanent and be pla ced over meadowlands ~vhere there is no tidal wa~er.~ I have drawn a little sketch of this on the reverse side of your area map. I will also say that I am not [00% certain that this dock/deck will be built (if approved) this year at all. Give oil dimensions necessary to determine the area of the deck surface which extends offshore from the O. H. W. M. Will any portion of this construction extend offshore into Town Waters beyond c~n imaginary line or boundary formed by other similar structures along the area's shoreline? YES or NO.
