Dear Mr. Uhlinger:
This letter will confirm the substance oi Trustee discussions in
relation to our January 21, 1993 inspections of the Jerry
Dilberto proposed dock location.
"As a rule", and almost to a certainty, the Southold Trustees
will not abridge any resident's right to warf out/build a
reasonable dock form his/her property provided it is used in
conformity with the zoning code (in connection with a principal
residence in this case), does not abridge the reasonable and
ordinary navigation rights of others and does not harm the
wetland. Although these conditions would seem to be easily met
on the site in question, we could not definitely rule on the
matter until we review Trustee and wetland permit applications.

Jerome DiLiberto, a customer of mine, is interested in
purchasing a parcel of property in Mattituck with frontage
along James Creek. He would very much like to avail himself
of the Board's offer to view the property to render an
opinion of its suitability for placement of a dock.
