Dear Trustees:
We hereby request a waiver on the "Wetlands Ordinance
to constrnct a retaining wall far above the tidal water line.
In the past five (~) years we have encountered a loss of
at least fifteen (1~) feet of ~ar rest lawn. The storm of
March 29, 198~, Hurricane Gloria, September 27, !98~ and the
extreme high tides we have experienced from December 1986 to
Ma~ tg, 1987 have all contributed to this tremendous loss.
It is imperative that we will receive approval ASAP before
there is more loss to our back lawn. This is a threat to our
cesspool and our water safety.
If there is an emergenc~procedure please advise us.
Thar~k y~a very much for your consideration.
Respectfully submitted
