the ~o~vn of Southold from any and all d~ages claims lot d~ages or suits

der and pursu~l to this permit, and will at his own expense, defend any ~d
Suits which may be brought by third parties, as a ~es~t of any operation c~ied
on pursuant to or in accordance with the terms of this pe~it, and assume full
liability with ~spe~ thereto to the complete exclusion of said ~d of T~stees
~nd the ~oxvn of Sou~old.
T~S PERRI~ is subje~ ~o the fo]lo~ng terms and conditions:
I. Thai there mhall be no unreasonable int~erence wilh navigation as a reset of
the ~ork herein auth~ized.
2. That there shall be no interference with ~e right of the public to pass and re-
pass along thai po~ion of ~e beach between Iow and high water mark.
3. That the work sh'all be subject ~o the supervision ~d approval of the said
Board of T~stees or its agents.
4. ~ai if ful~e .operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or
alteration in the ~ocation of the work herein authorized, or fi, in the opinion
of lhe B~rd of ~stees of lhe Tow n of Souihold, such work ~all cause un-
reasonable .obstruction to ~ree navigation, the said ~..~!~ .~a. ~
will be required upon due no~ice from the s~d Bo~d of T~stees, to remove
or alter the location of lhe ~ork hereby authorized wifhout expense to the
Town of Southold, so as 9o render navigati~ reasonably free and unobs~uct-
ed.
The authority conferred by this ~ermit may be terminated by the Doard,~ Trustees
for a failure on the part of the said Fr&~-~ t~l~t~;[s Jr, &. ~,
compiy with the terms and conditions herein imposed. In the event ef ~uch termination,
this permit shall be deemed revoked five (5) days after the date .when the Board of

address given in his application a certified copy of a reso uriah of the Board of Trustees
directing such termination.

APPLICATION FOR PERMIT
INSTRUCTIONS
A. This application to be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Town Trustees in dup-
licate.
B. Plot plan showing location of lot and buildings on premises, relation to adjoinlng premises, public streets,
parks, etc., and giving detailed description of proposed layout of proiect must be drawn on diagram which is part
of this application. '
C. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before the issuance of a permit.
D. Upon approval of this application, Town Trustees will issue a permit to applicant. Such perr~il shall be kept
on the premises and available for inspection at ail times.
E. Applicant shall notify the Board of Trustees upon completion of the work covered by permit.
APPLICATION IS HEREBY MADE ro the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New
York, for the issuance of a permit pursuant ro the laws. Ordinances and regulations governing construction of: docks,
piers, bulkheads, jettys and dredging in, under, and over the waters of Town of Southold. The applicant agrees
to comply with ali applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and conditions specified by said trustees, and to hold
the Town of Southold, and all Town officials free from liability and damages of any kind.
