Lane Curry applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated August 25, 1986 , and WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on October 30, 1986 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and ~EREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the h~alth, safety and general welfare of the people of the Town, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Costello Marine Contracting Corp. on behalf of J. Lane Curry BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO: Armor 210' of existing bulkhead with 1 - 2 ton rock ar 2 - 3 tons per foot. The stated purpose of the project is to provide adequate shoreline stabilization. The work involves the reconstruction, in-kind, and within 18inches of 130 line~ feet of timber bulkhead and the reconstruction, in-kind and in-place of two ~27 foot timber ret~rns~. The work also ihvolves the placement of riprap immediately adjacent to 210 linear feet of existing bulkhead.
