Dear Mr. Cross, The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during their regular meeting held on January 26, 1989 as follows: WHEREAS the Town Trustees have conducted an on site inspection of the subject property. RESOLVED that the Town Trustees approve the request made by David B. Cross for a waiver to install an zn-ground satellite antenna on Bob Smith's property located on Westphalia Road, Mattituck, N.Y., identified on Suffolk County Tax Map as 1000-113-9-11. On Installation of Satellite Antenna. Cross submitted a installation of a 12/16 I recieved acessory satellite the enclosed letter requesting waiver or 3urisdiction from the D.E.C. and trustees on the application. Due to the small scale of the acessory, I personally called upon the D.E.C. in Stonybrook to dicuss the mater. The Duty Officer related to was by the name of Tomas Therber. In dicussing the typlcaI in ground installation of a satellite antenna it was determined that it created no drainage, soil removal, or other enviromental disruptions. It was therby verbally %ranted a non-impacting verbal waiver. I now am requesting a waiver from the town trustees in this same manner. Cause damage from erosion, turbidity or siltation. Cause saltwater intrusion into the fresh water resources of the town. Adversely affect fish, shellfish or other beneficial marine organisams, aquatic wildlife and vegetation or the natural habitat thereof. Increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage. Adversely affect navigation on tidal waters or the Tidal flow of the tidal waters of the town. Change the course of any channel or the natural movement or flow of any waters. Weaken or undermine the lateral support of other lands mn the vicinity. Otherwise adversely affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town.
