Dear Sirs:
I request a waver from having to permit a two story addition
to my house on Darby's Cove, Fishers Island. The addition is
on the far side of the house from the water and no part of
it is closer than my existing house. Trustees Tuthitl and
A!bertson visited the site on their visit to the Island June
17, 1992 and felt a waver was in order in this case,The
project has been approved by the Department of Environmental
Conservations copy enclosed,

By acceptance of this permit, the permittee agrees that the permit Es contingent upon strict compliance

If upon the exoiratlon or revocation of this permit, the project hereby
authorized has not been completed, the applicant shall, without expense
to the State. and to such extent and in such time and manner as the
Department of Environmental Conservation may reqmre remove all or
any portion of the uncompleted structure or fdl and restore the s~re
to its former condition. No claim shale be made against the State of
New York on account oE any such removal or alteration
if granted under Article 36t this permit does not signify in anv way
that the project will he free from flooding.
If granted under 6 NYCRR Part 608. the NYS Deoarrment of Environ-
mental Conservation her]eby certifies that the subject proiect wig not
comravene effluent limitations or other limitations or standards under
Sections 30~ 30Z 303, 306 and 307of the Clean Water Act of '1977
{Pt 95-2'17l provided that aU of the conditions li~ed herein are met.
Ali activities authorized by this permit must be ih strict conformance
with the approved plans submitted by the applicant or his agent as parr
of the oermit application.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1. During construction, no wet or fresh concrete or leachane shall be allowed no
eseape or be discharged, nor shall washings from t~ansit mix trucks, mixers,
or other devices be allowed to enter tidal wetlands.
2. Any debris or excess material from construction of this project ~all be
completely removed fr~ the adjacent area (upland) and removed to an approved
upland area'~'for~d~pd~l'? ~No debris is permitted in tidal wetlands.
3. Roof runoff shall be directed to drywells a minimum of 50 feet landward of
the tidal wetland boundary for immediate on-site rechargeg
4. No decks, accessory structures, or additions will be permitted without further
approval of the Deparnment.
5. TRere shall be no disturbance to vegetated tidal wetlands as a result of the
permitted activiny.
6. Ail excavated material shall be removed to an approved upland site.
