Due to silting action over the past few years, it has now become impossible for me to gain access to the main channel in Corey Creek with my motor boast_, which only draws one (1) foot of water, a~ any time other than about one and one half hours on each side of ~lood tide. Further, I will incur an unwarranted financial burden if I mus~ dock or moor my new sail boat, which draws plus four (4) £eet. at a private marina. Due to the energy crisis I'm trading in my power boat. I therefore, hope you will consider favorable my request in order that I may utilize my dock and float, construction of which was approved by the Southold Town Board in 1976.
