of timber bulkhead, and a 4' X 20' stairway and backfill blkhd.
with 10 +/- c.y. of clean fill. Peconic Bay

The following recommendation was adopted at the meeting of the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council on September 23, 1996 :

RESOLVED .to recommend to the Southold .T. own Board of Trustees APPRO¥~i~
WITH A 'CONDITION Of the We,t;.land Permit Application of JOSEPH COLAH/~N
118'6-7 to remove and replace 0n same location and configuration) 100 I.f. of
timber retaining wall; 4' x 20' stairway; upper 5' x 100' boardwalk. Backfill
wall with 10 +/- c.y. clean fill to be trucked in from an upland site.

The Council recommends approval provided a non-turf buffer in installed. The
Council has no problem with the replacement of the retaining wall even though
it appears to be in excellent condition and the CAC sees no reason to remove
and replace it,
