The validity of this permit ]s or may be subject to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. ]-he Town accepts no responsibility in applying for or obtaining such approval, n the
event that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
unaer until such approval has been obtained in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shah subject this permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees upon rece,ipt by the
Trustees- of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disaporoval.
The applicant does by the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibility for operations under-
taken pursuant to this permit, and shall take all precautions for the prevenuon of injuries to persons
and property resulting from such operauons. By such acceptance, the applicant also agrees to indemni-
fy and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims arising
from operations under this permit and any and all acts or omissions of applicant, his agent and
employees,
The applicant and the owner and occupants of the premises upon which the operations authorized by
this permit are being conducted, do, by the acceptance of this permit, give consent to the Town, and
its officers and eh' 31oyees to e~er upon the premises where such operations are being conducted to
make such inspections as the Town may deem necessary to insure thatsuch operations are being con-
ducted in conformity with this permit.
This operation will not substantially:
A, Adversely affect the wetlands of the town,
B. Cause damage from erosion, turbidity or siltation. --'
C. Cause saltwater intrusion into the fresh water resources of the town,
D. Adversely affect fish, shellfish or other beneficial marine organisms, aquatic wildlife and vege-
tation or the natural habitat thereof.
E, Increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage.
F. Adversely affect navigation on tidal waters or the tidal flow of the tidal waters of the Town,
G, Change the course of any channel or the natural movement or flow of any waters.
H, Weaken or undermine the lateral support of other lands in the vicinity.
I. Otherwise adversely affect the health, safety and genera] welfare of the people of the town,

The following action was taken by the Board o2 Trustees a5
their regular meeting held on May 29, 1986 regarding your
wetland application.
Moved by Trustee Smith seconded by Trustee Larsen
WHEREAS, George A. Cottral on behalf of C & L Realty applied -- '
to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions
of the Wetland Ordinance of theTTown of Southold, application
dated February 14, 1986, and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on May 29, 1986 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premzses in question and the surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, the Board considered all testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application; and it zs noted for the
record that there has been no public opposition; and
~THEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of
the Town,
NOW, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED that George A. Cottral on behalf of C & L Realty be granted
permission under the provmslons of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town
of Southold, New York to construct docks as follows: 100' x 5', 50'
x 5' and a 55' x 5' in Budd's Pond. This permit will expmre on
May 29, 1987 if work has no~ co~enced by same. The Trustees are
to be notified upon the completion of the project.

Pursuant to your request to remove the sand from the tip
of the Budd's Pond Barrier the following resolution was adopted
by the Trustees at their regular meeting held on April 24, 1986:
RESOLVED to Approve a Waiver of the Wetland Ordinance as requested
by Bill Lieblein to remove 25' off of the Northwest tip of the
Budd's Pond Barrier Island as it is very close to the south end
of the docks at Port of Egypt Fish Market. Fill is to be placed
on the top of the existing island above the high water mark.

assumed that there are no objections nor comments from those
agencies.
3.The Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council has
recommended approval of the project as proposed.
4. As proposed the project will not adversely affect the
health, safety and general Welfare of the people of the
Town.

This notice is issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 8
of the Environmental Conservation Law State Envlrorumental Quality
Review and 6NYCRR Part 617, Section 617.10 and Chapter 44 of the
Code of the Town of Southold, Notice is hereby given that the
Southold Town Trustees, as lead-agency for the action described
below has determined that the pro'~ect will not have a Significant
effect to the environment.
TYPE OF ACTION: Unlisted
DESCRIPTION OF ACTION: Appellant
100' x 5', 50' x 5'.and a 55' x
proposes to place docks as follows:
5' in Budd's Pond, Greenport, N.Y.
LOCATION OF PROJECT: 66225 North Road, Greenport, New York.
REASONS SUPPORTING THIS DETERMINATION:
1. An environmental assessment form
has been submitted which
indicated that there would be no adverse effect to the
environment should the project be implemented as planned.
2. Because there has been no response in the allotted time from
Southold Town Building Dept. and the N.Y.S.D.E.C. it is
assumed that there are no objections nor comments from those
agencies.
3. The Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council has
recommended approval of the project as proposed.
4. As proposed the project will not adversely affect the
health, safety and general Welfare of the people of the
Town.
