The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meetiug held on September 28, 1995 regarding
the above matter:
WHERKAS, Eh-Consultants on behalf of Stanley Chase applied [o
the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of
the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated
August 31, 1995, and,
WPLEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to safd applioation on September 98, 1995, ag which vitae
all ~nterested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and:
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the suxTounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered sll the testimony and
documentation submitted concernin~ this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has deiermin.ed that the project as proposed
will not affect the kealth, safety and general welfare of the
people of the Tow]/,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
Eh-Consultants on behalf of STANLEY CHASE to cosntruct timber
dock a m~r,~m~nn of 4' above grade of marsh land a 3' X 30' fixed
catwalk extending from top fo bank as shov~q on survey; 3' X
10' hinge ramp; 6' X 16' float arranged in "T" configuration and
secured by (2) 8" pilings. Located Deep Hole Drive, Mattituck.
Permit To construct project will expire two years from the date
it is szgned if not started. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued w~tb~n six months of the date of tbim
notification.
T~vo inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

At a meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held
Thursday, September 21, 1995 the following recommendation was made:

Moved by Stephen Angell, seconded by Allan Connell. it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
WITH CONDITIONS. of the Wetland Application of STANLEY CHASE
115-12-12 to construct a timber dock a minimum of Lo above grade of marsh
and 3' x 30' fixed catwalk extending from top of "bank" as shown on survey; 3I
x 12' hinged ramp; 6~ x 16= float arranged in "T" formation and secured by two
(2) 8" pilings.

The Council recommends approval provided the project does not interfere or
'mpede the navigation in the creek.
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
WITH PROVISIONS of the Letter of Non-Jursidlctlon requested by STANLEY
CHASE 115-12-12 for the construction of a one family dwelling, deck sanitary
system, driveway, which are all shown on the submitted site plan. All work to
be in excess of 75' from nearest wetland/water.

The Council recommends approval provided the applicant respects the required
buffer area during clearing and construction.
