The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on June 27. 1996, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, MARCUS & JOARNBRYAN~ applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permi.t under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold. application dated May 13,
1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Soukhotd Town
ConServation Advisor~ Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
W~EREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on June 27, 1996, at which time all
interested persons were given% an opportunity to be heard, and.
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimor~f and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and.
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Cede,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare o~ the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
MARCUS & JOANN BRYAN to construct 90 I.f. of timber bulkhead
along toe of bluff with a 15' retthrn and backfill 10' behind
bulkhead with 125 c.y. of clean san~ t~ucked in from upland
source and returns be armored with stone. Located: 155 GLen
Court, Cutchogue.
BE IT FURT~:~ tAESOLVE~ that this determination should not be
considere~ a determination made for any other Departn~lt or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar p~oject.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and pezrait
issued wibhin six months of the date of this notification.
Two ~nspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of s~d project.
