The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on June 27. 1996, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, MARCUS & JOANN BRYAN} applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 13,
1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southotd Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on June 27, 1996, at which time all
interested persens were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHE/~AS, the Board members have personally viewed anna re
familiar with the premises in questien and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structttre complies with the standard set forth
Chapter 97-18 of the So~thold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the projec= as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
MARCUS & JOANN BRYAN to construct 90 I.f. of timber bulkhead
along toe of bluff with a 15' return and backfill 10' behind
-bulkhead with 125 c.y. of clean s~n~. trucked in from upland
source and meturns be armored with stone. Located: 155 Glen
Court, Cutchogue.
BE IT FURT~.W. RESOL¥'~u that this determination should net be
considered a determination made for any other Depa~ent or
Agency which m~y also have an application pend~ ng for the same
or simila~ project.
Permit to construct project will expire two yeers from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if apDlicable., and permit
issued within six months of the date of ~h~s notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisor~ Council held
MONDAY, JUNE 2~, 1996 the following recommendation was made:

Moved by Robert Keith, seconded by John Hagerty, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
~;Wl~TFI STIPULATIONS ~ of the Wetland Application of MARCUS and JOANN
BRYAN 83-1-2 to construct a total of 90 linear feet of timber bulkhead along
toe of bluff with a 15' return. Backfill 10' behind bulkhead with 125 c.y. of
clean sand to be trucked in from an upland source.
The Council recommends approval with the provision that the bulkhead be
covered with sand and the the coverage be maintained.
