Dear Mr. & M_rs. Bryan,
2~e following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on June 27, 1996, regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, MARCUS & JOANN BRYAN, applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordin~ulce of the Town of Southotd. application dated June 10,
1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendatioru~, and
W~HE~EAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on June 27, 1996. at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and.
~, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in guestion ~ the surrounding are~%,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation suhwu[tted concer~i~g this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW TREREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the' application of
MARCUS & JOANN BRYAN to construct 89 1.f. of timber bulkhead
along toe of bluff with a 15' return and back~itlI0' behind
_bulkhead with 125 c.y. of clean sand trucked in from upland
source and returns be armored with stone. Located: 255 Glen
Court, Cutchog~e.
BE IT FURTHERer SOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pend~ng for the same
or simila~ project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, an~ permit
issued within, six manths of the date of this notiEication.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upo~ completion of said project.

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
At' the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisor~ Council held
MONDAY. JUNE 2q. 1996 the following recommendation was made:

Moved by Robert Keith, seconded by John Hagerty, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold To..wn Board of Trustees APPROVAL
wi]tH sTIPuEATIONS of the Wetland Apphcatio.n. of MARCus and JOANN
BRYAN 83-1;3 to construct an 89 +/- linear foot t~mber bulkhead along toe of
bluff to tie into proposed bulkhead to west. Add one (1) 15' return. Backfill
10' behind bulkhead with 125 c.y. of clean sand to be trucked in from an
upland source.
The Council recommends approval with the provision that the bulkhead be
covered with sand and the the coverage be maintained.
