The validity of this permit '~s or may be subject to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. The Town accepts no responsibility m applying for or obtaining such approval. In the
event that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
unc er until such approval has been obtained in writing, The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shall subrect this permit to immediate revocation by the Trustees uoon receipt by the
Trustees, of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disapproval.
The applicant does by the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibility for operations under-
taken pursuant to this permit, and shall take all precautions for the prevention of injuries to persons
and property resulting from such operations. By such acceptance, the applicant also agrees to indemni-
fy and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims arising
from operations under this permit and any and al acts or omissions of applicant, his agent end
employees.
The appl icant and the owner and occupants of the premises upon which the operations authorized by
~his permit are being conducted, do, by the acceptance of this permit, give consent to the Town, and
its officers and employees to enter upon the premises where such operations are being conducted to
make such inspections as the Town may deem necessa~ to insure that such operations are being con-
ducted in conformity with this permit.
This operation will not substantially: A. Adversely affect the wetlands of the town.
B. Cause damage from erosion, turbidity or siltation.
C. Cause saltwater intrusion into the fresh water resources of the town,
D. Adversely affect fish, shellfish or other beneficial marine organisms, aquatic wildlife and vege-
ration or the natural habitat thereof.
E. Increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage.
F. Adversely affect navigation ~)n tidal waters or the tidal flow of the tidal waters of the town.
G. Change the course of any channel or the natural movement or flow of any waters.
H. Weaken or undermine the lateral support of other lands in the vicinity.
I. Otherwise adversely effect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town.

Dear Mr. Smith:
I have made an inspection o£ the Harry P. Broom site (Grandfather
application received by the Southold Town Trustees February lS, 1987).
The existing permanent structures (which appear to be at leamt 30
years old) as well as pilings seaward o~ the permanent structures conform
to the diagram included in the previously mentioned application.

Dear Mr. Malinowski:
Please make an inspection of the Robert J. Miller property located
on Fishers Island.for a determination on the need of a wetland permit
[see attached communications which are self-explanatory].
Also, transmitted herewith are copies of applications for permits
requested under the Grandfather Clause as follows:
Harrv P. Broom, J~. - To secure a permit for his structures and to
rebuild same, property is located on Peninsula Road, Fishers Island.
Ronald Zanghetti - To secure a permit for two floats under the
Grandfather Clause, property is located on Gloaming A~e,, Fishers
Island.
Submit your comments and recommendations to this office by April 13, 1987.

Constable on Fishers Island for his comments and recommendations on
same. The Trustees will review the matter at their April 29, 1987
meeting. You will be advised after that date of the action taken on
this application.
