This subdivision was approved in 1989, at which time the applicant was told that there was no wetland on this site. Box t179 Southold, New York 11971 JUL 2 9 993 TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO: Southold Town Board of Trustees FROM: Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council DAT ED: July 26. 1993 RE: Recommendation of Applications At the July 22 meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council. the following recommendations were adopted: Moved by John Hotzapfel, seconded by Robert Keith, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL WITH STIPULATIONS of Wetland Application of MATTHEW McKIERNAN 86-5-11.5 to construct a 1 1/2 story residence. All material is to be redistributed on property to establish proper grade. Construct a 4' × 50' catwalk over marshland (to be minimum 3' Over reeds in meadow) and install post to secure small boat. The Council recommends approval provided the house is located at least 75' from the wetlands. The Council recommends approval of the dock provided it does not hinder navigation. Moved by John Holzapfel. seconded by John Hagerty, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL of the Wetland Application of PAUL RACANO 63-7-35 to construct a timber dock consisting of a 4' x 72' fixed, elevated (4' over grade of marsh) walk; 3' x 16' hinged ramp; 6' x 10' float with 6' × 30' outer float arranged in "T" configuration. A ¥ wide x 60' +/- path to be cut through brush on slope leading to dock and surfaced with wood chips. 1265 Calves Neck Road, Southold. Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by Stephen Angell. seconded by Robert Keith. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees DISAPPROVAL of the Wetland Application of EUGENE BURGER 104-3-4 to construct a timber dock consisting of a ~' × 40' fixed elevated (minimum 4' above grade of marsh) pier (plus steps); 3' x 16{ hinged ramp; 6' x 16' float secured by two pilings. Place approximately 10 c.y. of sand and grade into a berm approximately 3' wide at the base and 1.5' high to extend the width of the parcel (68 +/- '). above AHW and wetlands. Following grading, berm will be planted with Ammorphil|a brevitigulata on 18" centers. Purpose af berm is to prevent occasional flooding of upland as occurred during 12/92 and 3/93. The Council recommends disapproval of the berm because it could destroy the existing marsh. The Council recommends approval of the dock. 2515 Pine Tree Road.
