ALL. that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate,
lying and being in the Village of Mattituck, Town of Southold, County of
Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and described as follows :
BEGINNING at a stake set on the westerly line of private
road known as Crescent Way at the southeasterly corner of land conveyed
or about to be conveyed by parbara Jazombek to Daniel W. Merritt, Jr..,
and running thence along said westerly line of Crescent Way South 130
40 ' East 72 .03 feet to the stake; running thence along other land of
Barbara Jazombek South 570 15 ' West 365 feet more or less to the shore
of Laurel Lake; running thence northerly and then northeasterly along
said shore of Laurel Lake 210 feet more or less to said land conveyed
or about to be conveyed to Daniel W. Merritt, Jr. ; running thence along
said land North 710 10 ' East 245 feet more or less to the point or
place of beginning.
TOGETHER with the use of a right-of-way from the property
above described to North Road or Sound Avenue.
THE property is to be used for residential purposes only.
BEING AND INTENDED to be the same premises described in a
certain deed dated August 27, 1949, from Barbara Jazombek to Charles
M. Underwood and Charlotte W. Underwood, his wife, as tenants by the
entirety, the grantors herein, recorded in Suffolk County Clerk ' s
Office September 7, 1949, in Liber 2989 cp 334.
SUBJECT to a purchase money first mortgage in the amount
of $18, 000, given to secure a portion of the purchase price of this
conveyance, and intended to be recorded simultaneously herewith.
