paid by the parties of the second part, do . hereby grant and release unto the
part ies of the second part, their distributees and assigns forever, all
that tract or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements
thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the Hamlet of Mattituck,
Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded
and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument on the westerly side of Maiden
Lane (a private road) 160 feet North of the northerly line of lands
now or formerly of the Estate of A. K. Brown, and running thence
westerly parallel with the northerly line of lands now or formerly
of the Estate of A. K. Brown, about 87 feet 9 inches to a concrete
monument which is about 87 feet and 9 inches easterly from the lands
now or formerly of T. L. Hamilton; thence running northerly parallel
with the westerly line of Maiden Lane about 192 feet to the high
water mark of Mattituck Creek; thence easterly along the high water
? mark of Mattituck Creek to the westerly line of Maiden Lane; thence
southerly along the westerly line of Maiden Lane to the point or
place of BEGINNING.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest of the parties
of the first part in and to the lands lying in the bed of Maiden Lane,
adjacent to the premises above described, to the center line thereof.
TOGETHER with all the right, title and interest of the parties of
the first part in and to the waters and the lands under the waters of
:q Mattituck Creek, adjacent to the premises above described to the
center line thereof.
BEING AND INTENDED TO BE the same premises conveyed to the
parties of the first part by deed of Harold R. Reeve, Jr. dated
March 20, 1937 and recorded in the office of the Clerk of Suffolk
County on April 21, 1937 in Liber 1917 of conveyances, at page 170.
