Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-Existing Certificate
of Occupancy, I made an inspection of the two buildings at this
location. I was admitted to dwelling by Sandra Eggers and began
this inspection at approximately 10:25 A.M.
The dwelling is a two-story wood framed building constructed
on a poured concrete foundation. First floor consists of a kitchen,
living room, full bathroom, and three bedrooms. The master bedroom
has a full bathroom and dressing room. Second floor contains rooms
used for sleeping and a full bathroom off hallway. Heat is furnished
to all rooms on the first floor from an oil fired forced warm air
furnace located in full cellar. Cellar has a shower room and toilet
room. Domestic hot water is supplied to all plumbing fixtures from
an electric hob water heater. Accessory structures include a beach
house in rear yard and a two-car wood framed garage with lean-to
storage section at rear of building.
The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52,
Town of Southold, New York, were found:
Sewage system - no house trap, Article V, Section 52-51 C 1.
Heat - rooms on second floor unheated. Occupancy between
15th day of September and 31st day of May of the following
year, these rooms shall be provided with heating equipment,
Article V, Section 52-53 A 1.
Garage - corner post of building on northeast corner dete-
riorating at base and has moved away from structure leaving
excessive opening, Article III, Section 52-30 C, Section
52-31 B.

A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in.hriplicate to the Building
Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equa0.
3. Approval of electricel installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and
installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for
the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site pion requirements where applicable.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
v 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural
or topographic features.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in-
formation required to prepare a certificate.
C. Fees:
