Prior to 1900 this property was owned by Meday and it is believed that the residence on it was erected prior to that time. The E. Belcher Hyde Map, 1909 shows the premises as owned by Meday and shows a residence located on it. The residence is in its original condition. The premises and more were purchased by Mrs. DiVello and myself on October 24, 1978 from Freda S. Rau & Ernest E. Schutt and to my knowledge no changes or alterations have been made to the premises that would require a building permit or certificate of occupancy, since 1957.
