DAVIS Upon request of the Southold Town Building Department, I made inspection of this two story framed dwelling and found the following violations of Chapter 52, Housing Code, Town of Southold. I was admitted to building by Mrs. Alvah Goldsmith and began inspection at approximately 11:35 A.M. The first floor consists of sitting room on entry, dining room, kitchen and eating area, living room and bathroom. The second floor has four bedrooms and a full bathroom. Heat is supplied to all rooms from oil fired furnace located in full cellar. FIRST FLOOR - Sitting room at front entry - wall outlet requires plate, ceiling fixture removed, open electrical box. Article V, Section 52-56 A-1. KITCHEN - Outside entry, no means of controlling light in room on entry. Article IV, Sec. 52-56 B-2. BATHROOM - Requires moisture resistant floor covering. Article III, Sec. 52-32 D. SECOND FLOOR - Ceiling headroom 6' 11". Violation Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 100, Sec. 100-13 B, Floor Area Livable. BATHROOM - Requires moisture resistant floor covering- Article III, Sec. 52-32 D. EXTERIOR - Front entrance enclosure rotting. Article III, Sec.52-32 A. frames of enclosure Accessory Building - two car garage in front yard, shingles on south side deteriorating. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in DUPLICATE to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installotions, o certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
