Tax Roil: Donald Crohan & wife Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one-and-one-half story, wood-framed building. Accompanied by Mr. Crohan, I began this in- spection at approximately 10:15 A.M. The first floor of the dwelling consists of a kitchen with a vestibule entrance which serves as a laundry room and contains a laundry washer and drying machine; living room with a fireplace; dining room; bedroom; and a hall bathroom. Front entry to living room is protected by an open front porch. Second floor consists of three bedrooms. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil- fired, hot water furnace located in cellar of building's cement block foundation. There are two accessory structures on the premises. One building is used for a work shop and storage. The foundation of this building provides a full cellar with outside entrance. The foundation is constructed of clay tile blocks. The second acces- sory structure is a two-car garage located on the west side of the property which faces Reeve Avenue. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York, were found: Cellar - gas-fired hot water heater, no shut off valve at unit, Article V, Section 52-52 B. No chimney p~ovided to remove combustible products, Article V, Section 52-53 B. Accessory storage building - sill of window on east side of building rotted away. There is a framed opening which has no exterior siding but the building is enclosed by plywood paneling nailed to the inside. The structure is subject to destruction by the elements, Article III, Section 52-31 C. One the east side of the building there was a chimney, which has collapsed. At the gable end overhang where the chimney · had gone beyond the roof, there is a section of roof which is unprotected, Article III, Section 52-30 C. Two-car garage - southeast corner of garage, six courses of shing%es from the bottom of the siding are damaged and missing exposlng structural corner of the wall, Article III, Section 52-30 C. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings end installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey.of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner os to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3.
