Olsen, Attorney, Main Road, Mattituck, I made an inspection of this one and one half story framed dwelling and found the following violations of Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York. I was admitted to building by Mrs. Ciaglo and began inspection at approximately 1:10 P.M. First Floor consists of living room, eat-in kitchen, full bathroom, and two bedrooms. Second Floor (half story, full dormer rear of building). Head room 7 feet. Violatio~ Building and Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 100, Article I, Section 100-13 B. Floor area livable- consists of two bedrooms and an unfinished future bathroom. Heat is furnished to all rooms from oil fired forced warm air furnace located in full cellar. Cellar Smoke pipes from furnace and oil fired hot water heater are fitted together into large opening of building's foundation wall. This opening runs into chimney against east side of building - present opening around pipes has not been sealed. Chimney construction requires metal or clay thimble as suitable smoke pipe connections. Article V, Section 52-54 1.2.
