Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-Existing Certificate of Occupancy I made an inspection of this two story framed dwelling. I picked up keys from George G. Wetmore at his home and began inspection as aprox- imately 10:10 A. M. The first floor consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen and full bathroom. Second floor has three bedrooms. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil fired hot water furnace located in full cellar of a brick masonry foundation. Front entry of dwelling is protected by an open porch. Rear entry to Uitchen is a vestibule. A one car, wood framed garage is located in rear yard on south side of property. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, N. Y. were found. Front Entry: no means of controlling light in room on entry. Art. V - Section 52-56 B. 2. Stairway: to second floor, no means of lighting stairway for safe ascent and descent. Art. II Section 52-26 B. 3. Inspection completed at aproximately 10:30 A. M. Key was returned to Mr. Wetmore. (Placed back in one of the trays on dashboard of Mr. Wetmores car as per his instructions.) This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in DUPLICATE to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal). 3.Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5.Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Nomconforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing alt property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2.Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3.
