Upon request of the Southold Town Building Department,
I made inspection of this two story framed dwelling and found
the following violations of Local Law #l, Housing Code, Town
of Southold. I was admitted to front entrance by Mr.
Brudermaon and began inspection at approximately lO:l~ a.m.
First Floor: heated, forced warm air with ducts in
each room consisting 9f one bedroom, living room, kitchen,
and half bath. East s~de unheated, enclosed porch to front
entryi South side unheated, enclosed porch full width of
building; West side enclosed unheated section contains
stall shower, plumbing set up to accommadate laundry
machines.
Entrance: West side, no light switch at point of entry
to control light in room. Section ~29b
LivinK room: no light switch to control light in room
at entry. Section g29b
Second Floor: consists of three bedrooms, one full bath-
room, one utility room-no heat supplied to second floor,
occupancy between first of November and first of May not
permitted. Section 513a
Cellar: Electric fuse box, no panel. Section g28a.
Cellar windows-three broken panes-Section 302b. Water
supply lines-leaks at five different locations causing
wet areas on cellar floor. Section 502b.
Accessory BldKs: One car garage-open areas maintained
well.

APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Instructions
A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building
Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--($~9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and
installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for
the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural
or topographic features.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in-
formation required to prepare a certificate. '
