Tax Roil: Occupied: - Greenport Driving Park - Lot Willie Brown Lorie Latney Upon request of John Courtney of Gobel & Palmer, Attorneys, I made an inspection of this one story framed dwelling for issuing a Pre-Existing Certificate of Occupancy. I was admitted to building by Sadie Wilson and began inspection at approximately 3:30 P.M. The dwelling consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen with eating area, and full bathroom. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil fired hot water furnace located in crawl space of building's cement block foundation. An attached storage unit is located in carport on west side of building. The following violations were found - (Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York): Kitchen - Bathroom- Cellar - cooking gas range - no shutoff valve at unit. Article V, Section 52-52 B.2. Window on south side of room, broken glass pane, Article III, Section 52-31 B. Floor covering, broken tiles at base of tub, and cracked deterioration of tiles at base of toilet. Article III, Section 52-32 D. (Crawl space) access door rotted and broken away from hinges. Article III, Sec. 52-31 A. Furnace and smoke stack, extreme accumulation of soot on furnace and area of furnace location. Smoke stack connection to chimney not sealed, and smoke stack im- properly installed resulting in poor draft. Article V, Sec. 52-54 A. 1-2 (New York State Construction Code Manual - Part 5 - page 52 - Smoke Pipe and Gas Vent Connection). This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink., and submitted in DUPLICATE to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual naturot or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
