SCTM# 1000-110-7-3 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore are CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided the following recommendations are considered: 1. 'It is recommended that the existing in place vegetation be avoided and remain to stabilize soils to the greatest extent practicable. 2. It is recommended that more native, drought and salt tolerant vegetation (ammophilia b) is used in re-vegetating the bluff face. 3. It is recommended that a vegetated buffer(using plant habits described above) be located landward of the top of bluff to reduce turf areas dependent on fertilization and irrigation near the waterbody. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
