THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2015-928 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
NOVEMBER 17, 2015:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby accepts the resignation of
Joseph Krukowski as the representative on the Suffolk County Farmland Committee effective
immediately and be it further
RESOLVED that the Town Board appoints Steven Mudd as the representative on the Suffolk
County Farmland Committee to fill Mr. Krukowski's vacancy.

28.-Moved by Supervisor Cochran, seconded by Councilman Moore, it was
RESOLVED ,that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
appoints Joseph '"Krukowski as Southold Town's new representative to the
Suffolk County Farmland Committee, effective immediately.
28. Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Justice Evans,
Councilwoman Oliva, Councilwoman Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
29.-`Moved by Justice Evans, seconded' by Councilwoman Hussie, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
authorizes and directs Supervisor Jean W. Cochran to execute an
agreement between the Town of Southold and Frederick Fiedler, retired
Police Officer, specifyingthe manner in which Frederick Fiedler will be
compensated for accumulated unused vacation days, holidays and sick
days, all in accordance withthe provisions of the PBA contract.
29.-Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Justice' Evans,
Councilwoman Oliva, Councilwoman. Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
30.-Moved by Councilwoman Hussie, seconded by Councilman Moore,
WHEREAS, the East End Supervisors and Mayors Association has
sponsored the concept of municipalization, including the obtaining of a
study that recommends " municipalization for the east end Towns and
Villages;. and
WHEREAS, several of ; the municipalities that comprise the East End
Supervisors and Mayors Association are presently in the process of the
planning, creation, 'or implementation of municipal utilities; andWHEREAS,, the present plan of the Long Island Power Authority as it
has been stated by that authority would have the possibility of causing a
serious detrimental effect on the municipalization of Town and Village
electric services; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby formally
requests that the Long Island Power Authority include in whatever plan is
finally authorized, that the municipalization of local utilities is
specifically included in that plan and that Towns and Villages on Long
Island continue to have the right to municipalization that they presently
have under New York State Law, and which Towns and Villages in the
remainder of New York State will continue to have.
30.- Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Justice Evans,
Councilwoman.Oliva, Councilwoman Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
31 .-Moved by Councilwoman .Hussie,_ seconded by Justice Evans, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
authorizes and. directs Supervisor, Jean W. Cochran to execute a Consent
to Assignment and Assumption Agreement between New York Acquisition
Sub, Inc. and the Town of Southold, which agreement consents to the
assignment of the Contract for Construction Material and/or Demolition
Debris (C&D) Haul and Services from Star Recycling, Inc. to New York
Acquisition ,Sub, Inc.; said agreement all in accordance with the approval
of the Town Attorney.
COUNCILWOMAN HUSSIE: This just brings our C&D to the same place it
used to be going to before, only under a different name. No big problem.
31 .-Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Justice Evans,
Councilwoman Oliva, Councilwoman Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
32.-Moved by Councilwoman Oliva, seconded by Justice Evans, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to advertise for resumes for a
part=time Clerk Typist for the Office of the Supervisor, 17-1/2 hours per
week, $6.82 per hour.
32.-.Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Justice Evans,
Councilwoman Oliva, Councilwoman Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
