Board of Appeals
~ay 16th, 1957
A regular meeting of the board of appeals was held at the
Town Clerk's Office in S0uthold, N.Y., on Thursday, ~ay 16th, 1957,
at 7:30 P.M.
There were present: Mr. Robert W. Gillispie,
Mr. Herbert Rosenberg
Mr. Oharles Gregonis
Jr. (Chairman)
Also:
Howard ~. Terry, Building Inspector
Absent:
Mr. Robert Bergen
Mr. Serge Doyen, Jr.
GEORGE F. GRATHWO~ of New Suffolk appeared regarding Lot 66 and
half of Lot 65 (75' frontage x 150' depth) located between Grathwoh!
and Wicks Rds. He submitted several maps; one setup in 1932, another
made Septe~oer 7, 1951 (revised ~Ovember 16, 1951) and a new map nmde
-April 2, 1957. The map of April 2, 1957, conforms as far as possible
to requirements for lot sizes, which the board looks on favorably.
~r. Grathwohl also submitted a copy of Restrictions in Deed on lvieadow-
land and Uplandwhichwas read to the board by the Chairman.
~T~d~K ZALESKI My. Terry advised that ~. Zaleski has inquired as to
whether he had to get a separate permit for moving building off a
lot and putting it on another. As far as the board is concerned he
does not need a perm~t to remove said building but must have a build-
lng permit for erection on new location.
EDWARD GEEEN - ROAC~ - ~LARJORIE BURNS Property: ~. Terry advised
that inquiries concerning these properties had all been referred to
the Planning Board.
~inutes of the ~ay 2nd meeting were read bye. Gillispie. ~otion
was made ~yhtr. Gregonis that minutes be approved. ~. Rosen~erg
seconded the motion. ~otion carried and so approved.
~r. Terry brought up the subject of recording of minutes and it was
unanfmously agreed that whenever a motion is made and seconded, both
the n~e of the party making the motion and the nsme of the party
seconding the motion shall be duly recorded. Also, number of votes
"for" or "against" and just how each member of the board voted shall
be so recorded.
I~inutes of the Nlay 9th meeting were read by ~r. Gillispie. On motion
made by ~ir. Gregonis, seconded by ~Lr. Rosenberg, and carried, the
minute~ were approved.

At the last meeting, Lay 9th, 1957, hr. ~. G. Terry, Jr. advised
that three members would be sufficient to provide a quorum.
