Attachments:Staff Report Commercial Solar Energy Project Name:SCTM#: 1000-96-1-17.5 Production System at Southold Town Landfill Location: 6155 Cox Lane, Cutchogue Description:This proposed Site Plan is to construct a ground-mounted commercial solar energy production system consisting of 3,456 modules at ±7'4" tall covering 1.65 acres on the existing landfill cap with a ±17' x 8' inverter and transformer along with associated ground equipment. Existing on site are ±25,000 sq. ft. of existing buildings including the Town transfer station and associated accessory structures, all on 61.2 acres in the Light Industrial Zoning District. Lot 1 equals 65,562 sq. ft., Lot 2 equals 77,694 sq. ft., and Lot 3 equals 29.5416 acres and is proposed to be preserved through a Sale of Development Rights to the Town of Southold.
