Y., on There were present~ Zoning Board of~opeals was held at the Town Clerkts Thursday, June 20, 1957, at 7:30 P.M. Mr, E. W. Gillispie, Jr. - Ch~irm~n Mr. H. Rosenberg Mr. C, Gregonis Mr. R. Bergen Mr. H. M. Terry, Building Inspector Mr. R. G. Terry, Jr., Town Counsel Mr. & Mrs. Phillip C. Fuller appeared before the board in regard to building of a house on Lot. No. 55, 50~ x 150! on west side of Bray Avenue, ~ttituck, N. Y. Filed map No. 1582, dated M~rch 28, 1928, of the estate of George I. Tuttle. There are privately owned lots on each side of property; Lot 56 owned by a ~,~. Barry and has been in Mr. Barry~s ownership for many years, Lot 54 was bought after zoning. Board advised Mr. Fuller that before a ~uilding permit could be granted he would have to file for a variance to the ordins~uce. Notices to be published and hearing to be held on July 3, 1957, at 7:30 P.M., Town Clerkls office in Southold, N. Y. Chairman then instructed secretary to write Mrs. Wells, realtor, with a copy of letter to Mr. Haley, advising that until a decision is m~e by the Town ~oard as to policy to be taken on filed m~ps they will have to ~dvise purchasers of lots of the George I. Turtle estate that it will be necessary to secure a variance on all under- sized lots in order to obtain a permit to build. PUBLIC I~ARING - Appeal No. 4 - Henry J. Smith, Peconic. Application for variance to the zoning ordinance. Property loco~ted at Mill Colony, Southold, N. Y. Appeal, Legal Notices and affad~vits were read by Mr. Bergen. Mr. Charles Dougherty was to have appeared in ~. Smithls absence but as Mr. Dougherty was not present and the application for appeal was not properly filled in the board agreed that Mr. Dougherty be advised that they should present an engineer's description of the property involved, and Hearing is continued until the next meeting to be held on June 27, 1957. Minutes of the June 13th meeting were read by the Secretary. On motion made by Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Bergen, and carried, minutes were approved. Motion was m~de by the Chairman to h~ve Mrs. Meyer purchase from McCabe~s Stationery in Riverhead the following sup!o~lies: 12 Steno Note Books, 12 Pencils, Carbon Pe~er, Legal Size Index for file cabinet, A three ring binder for Minutes and three punch p~per for ring binder. Motion was seconded by Mr. Rosen~erg, and carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:40 P.M. Grace B. Meyer Secretary
