POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Town Board Meeting in Southold High School 3. Affordable home revolving loan fund legislation (revisit) Set public hearing for "A Local Law in Relation to the Affordable Housing District, Chapter 100, Article V, Affordable Housing District (AHD), of the Code of the Town of Southold". Set public hearing for local law on change of zoning district designation, SCTM #1000- 122-2-23.1 V. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 206. Grant permission to Principal Building Inspector Michael Verity, Building Inspector Bruno Semon, and Fire Inspector Robert Fisher to attend the Transitional Training Program April 16-18, 2002 at SUNY Farmingdale; and Building Inspectors Gary Fish and John Boufis to attend the same training May 14-16, 2002. 207. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an Agreement with the North Fork Housing Alliance as part of the 2002 Community Development Block Grant. 208. Set 8:00 p.m., April 9, 2002, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing on the purchase of development rights of agricultural lands of Cullinane, SCTM # 1000-19- 1-1.2. 209. Grant permission to Andrea D'Angelo, d/b/a One Fine Day, on behalf of Jess Uterano, to use of the New Suffolk Beach Parking Lot on June 1, 2002 after 4:00 for the parking of approximately 50 cars for a wedding. 210. Accept the resignation of Kathleen Goggins from her position of Clerk-Typist in the Assessors Office. 211 Promote Nina Schmid to the position of Assistant Manager, Fishers Island Ferry District. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriate the remaining NYS Department of State grant for the Eelgrass Culture Facility Sidewalk project. 213. Authorize modification to the Southold Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriate funds for the Mattituck Seniors Holiday Party. 214. Authorize Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program to place a dock at the end of Mill Road, Mattituck. 215. Amend resolution No. 02 adopted at the Town Board Organizational meeting to appoint Joanne Liguori as Confidential Secretary to the Supervisor, effective February 4, 2002. 216. Accept the bid of Ed's Repair Service of Orient for the purchase of two surplus used pony motors. 217. Accept the resignation of Diane Ravitch for the Landmark Preservation Committee and authorize Town Clerk Neville to advertise to fill the position. 218. Grant permission to Senior Citizens Program Director Karen McLaughlin and Clerk Terry VanEtten to attend the Food Managers Certificate Program on April 9-11, 2002 at the Suffolk County Health Department. 219. Accept the bid of Thames Shipyard & Repair Co. for the dry-docking and repair of the MV RACE POINT for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 220. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an Agreement with the NYS DOT for the Brushes Creek Replacement Project. 221 Amend resolution #120 adopted February 26, 2002 and #167 adopted March 12, 2002 in order to appoint Jennis Conroy, Barbara Taylor, and Beatrice Normoyle as on-call Detention Attendants for the Southold Town Police Department. 222. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign Extension Agreement(s) with the NYS DOS for several Town grant projects. 223. Authorize a change in title for Corinne Bednoski from "Laborer" to "Wastewater Treatment Plant Helper". 224. RESOLUTIONS- Cont. 225. Approve the revised bond estimate for Phase I of the Major Subdivision Summit Estates and accept the Rider for the Subdivision Bond #B93-000461 in the amount of $88,920. 226. Approve the bond estimate for Phase II, Sections 2 & 3, of the Major Subdivision Summit Estates and accept the Subdivision Bond #UB0268279 in the amount of $200,442.50. 227. Approve a reduction in the amount of the letter of credit no. 100214 drawn by the Bank of Smithtown for improvements to the Laurel Links, Ltd. major subdivision. 228. Release the letter of credit no. 170000306 drawn on the Bridgehampton National Bank for the purpose of guaranteeing the clearing, grading and replacement of excavated materials relating to the construction of the Laurel Links Golf Course. 229. Accept the Board of Ethics report of Chairman Ploth and member Powers concerning the conflict of interest question involving William Moore and Patricia Moore. 230. Accept the Board of Ethics report on the question of the conflict of interest of an individual sitting on the Board of Assessment Review and doing appraisals in Southold. 231 Approve the amendment to the Community Development Year 2001 Program Budget. 232. Enact "A Local law in Relation to Parking Offenses and Penalties, Chapter 92, Articles IV and VI, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Code of the Town of Southold". 233. Adjourn in respect and sympathy to the memory ofMarilyn Quintana, Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Southold. VI.
