Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-Existing Certificate
of Occupancy I made an inspection of this dwelling. Accompanied by
Peter Bogovic I began this inspection at approximately 9:15 A.M.
The building is a wood frame two story structure constructed on
a red brick masonry foundation. First floor apartment contains two
living rooms, a bedroom, kitchen, enclosed porch off kitchen providing
rear entry to kitchen. A storage room off kitchen that provides access
to one car garage attached to east side of building, and a full bath-
room.
Second floor apartment has a separate entry accessible from first
floor hallway and contains a bedroom, living room, kitchen, full bath-
room and sitting room. Heat is furnished to all rooms on first floor
from an oil fired hotwater furnace. Heat is furnished to all rooms on
second floor from a gas fired hotwater furnace. Hot and cold domestic
water is furnished to all plumbing fixtures within dwelling. Heating
equipment is lo~ated in full cellar of buildings foundation. Cellar
is accessible from an enclosed entry located on westerly side of
building. An enclosed porch on south and west side of building protects
entries to respective apartments.
The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Code
of the Town of Southold, N.Y. were found:
Attached one car garage-no fire resistant material separating
garage and dwelling. Article I, Section 52-14 A.B. (State Building
Construction Code-Section A402-3.6 A)
Exterior-paint peeling from soffits of eaves. Article III,
Section 52-31B.

A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in DUPUCATE to the Building
Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and
unusual natural or tapograghic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multipla Re~bnce~ and similar buildings and
installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer re~x~mible for
the building.
.5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pm-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey.of property showing all pmporty lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural
or topngmphic feature.
