AUTHORIZES TOWN CLERK TO PUBLISH AND POST PUBLIC NOTICE
TO CONSIDER A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND CHAPTER 101 ENTITLED "VEHICLES
AND TRAFFIC" OF THE RIVERHEAD TOWN CODE
Councilman Gabrielsen offered the following resolution,
which was seconded by Councilwoman Giglio
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to publish and post the
attached public notice to consider a local law to amend Chapter 101 entitled, "Vehicles
and Traffic" of the Riverhead Town Code once in the September 24, 2015 issue of the
News-Review Newspaper, the newspaper hereby designated as the official newspaper
for this purpose, and also to cause a copy of the proposed amendment to be posted on
the sign board in Town Hall; and be it further
RESOLVED, all Town Hall Departments may review and obtain a copy of this
resolution from the electronic storage device and, if needed, a certified copy of same
may be obtained from the Office of the Town Clerk.

TOWN OF RIVERHEAD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held on the 6th day of
October, 2015 at 2:10 o'clock p.m., at Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New
York to hear all interested persons to consider a local law to amend Chapter 101 entitled,
"Vehicles and Traffic" of the Town Code as follows:
Chapter 101
Vehicles and Traffic
Article V. Parking, Standing and Stopping
§ 101-10.2. No parking certain hours.
Street Side Hours Location
Municipal Parking Lot Both 1:00 am to 6:00 am Municipal Parking Lot
Located between Union Located between Union
and Maple Avenues and Maple Avenues
§ 101.13. Parking time limited.
E. Two hours. The parking of vehicles for a period of longer than two hours is
prohibited in the following locations between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.,
except Sundays and holidays:
