1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings,property lines,streets,and unusual natural or

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application MUST be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises,relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and waterways.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application,the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e.No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
f. Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted in the interim,the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing,the extension of the permit for an
addition six months. Thereafter,a new permit shall be required.

Dear Mr. Brennan:
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the site plan prepared by Patrick
Brennan, AIA , last revised on February 15, 2013, and determined that the proposed
construction of a swimming pool, pool patio, and pool house is out of the Wetland
jurisdiction under Chapter 275 of the Town Wetland Code and Chapter 111 of the Town
Code.
Therefore, in accordance with the current Wetlands Code (Chapter 275) and the
Coastal Erosion Hazard Area (Chapter 111) no permit is required. Please be advised,
however, that no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place
seaward of the tidal and/or freshwater wetlands jurisdictional boundary or seaward of
the coastal erosion hazard area as indicated above, or within 100' landward from the
top of the bluff, without further authorization from the Southold Town Board of Trustees
pursuant to Chapter 275 and/or Chapter 111 of the Town Code. It is your responsibility
to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or other
alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation within Tidal Wetlands
jurisdiction and Coastal Erosion Hazard Area, which may result from your project. Such
precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the tidal wetland
jurisdictional boundary and the coastal erosion hazard area and your project or erecting
a temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Mr& Ms Higgins :
Based on the information you submitted, the Department of Environmental
Conservation has determined that the portion of the parcel listed above which is
located landward of the 18 foot contour as shown on the survey by John C.
Ehlers, last revision dated May 15, 2012, is beyond Tidal Wetlands Act(Article 25)
jurisdiction. Therefore, in accordance with the current Tidal Wetlands Land Use
Regulations (6NYCRR Part 661) no permit is required for any work landward of this
contour line .
Be advised, no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take
place seaward of the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above, without
a permit. It is your responsibility to ensure that all precautions are taken to prevent any
sedimentation or disturbance within Article 25 jurisdiction which may result from your
project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the •
jurisdictional boundary and your project(i.e. a 15' wide construction area)or erecting a
temporary fence, barrier, or hale bay berm.
This letter shall remain valid unless site conditions change.
Please note that this letter does not relieve you of the responsibility of obtaining
