MONTHLY REPORT: AUGUST 2015
FISHERS ISLAND ANNUAL MEETING: was held this year on Wednesday,
August 5. Numerous topics pertaining specifically to Fishers Island were
discussed.
QI.ARTERLV 13 ROC HtIRES: Price quote requests for the printing of our four
brochures were sent to 17 printing companies in the area. A deadline of Friday,
September 18 was given.
FALL 2015 BROCHURE: The brochure was an insert in the August 13 edition
of The Suffolk Times. The brochures were brought to all 4 local libraries, the
Human Resource Center in Mattituck, town hall, local supermarkets, delis,
businesses, etc. All activities, programs, and bus trips were also listed on our
website. Our thanks goes out to Lloyd Reisenberg for his continued help.
2016 RECREATION DEPARTMENT BUDGET REQUEST: was submitted
to Town Clerk Betty Neville last month. A meeting was held with Supervisor
Scot Russell and Town Comptroller John Cushman to review the requested
budget.
WINTER 2016 BROCHURE: Work has already begun on preparing the winter
2016 brochure as it is a lengthy and detailed process.
LIFEGUARD STAFFING: Advertisements for American Red Cross Lifeguard
Certification Programs was placed in our fall brochure in an ongoing effort to
make sure we have enough lifeguards for the summer of 2016.
RECREATION DEPARTMENT DEPOSITS & EXPENDITURES:
Following are copies of our monthly bank statement, deposits made for the
month, instructor payroll sheets, and 2015 purchase orders submitted to date.
Please note that all withdrawals on the bank statement are program refunds for
those participants who paid with a credit card.
