Tel.(631)765-1809•Fax(631)765-9064 MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY AUGUST 20, 2015 A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Capitol One Bank Building, First Floor conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday August 20, 2015 commencing at 5:00 P.M. Present were: Gerard P. Goehringer, Member George Horning, Member (via Stype) Eric Dantes, Member Vicki Toth, Zoning Board Assistant Absent: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson/Member Ken Schneider, Member Call to Order at 5:10 P.M. by Member Goehringer. DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: The Board continued with agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following applications. The original determinations of each of the following applications as decided are filed with the Southold Town Clerk: APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: JAY P. and KAREN A. QUARTARRO#6872 EMMA VAN ROOYEN#6871 Page 2—Minutes Special Meeting held August 20, 2015 Southold Town Zoning Board of Appeals APPROVED AS APPLIED: BRIAN HARRIS#6873 PETER and SUSAN HONIG#6874 GRANTED AMENDED APPLICATION W/CONDITIONS: MICHAEL and ERIN WARLAN#6876 CHRISTOPHER ARIENS#6875 JAMES KNOBLOCH#6809—(Re-opened by Board Resolution) Request for Variance from Article XXIII Section 280-124 and the Building Inspector's August 4, 2014 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for building permit an "as built" deck addition to existing single family dwelling, at; 1) less than the code required single side yard setback of 10 feet, located at: 795 Bayview Drive East Marion, NY. SCTM#1000-37-1- 19. BOARD RESOLUTION:Motion was offered by Member Dantes, seconded by Member Goehringer to uphold prior Conditional Approval. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. RESOLUTION ADOPTED:Motion offered by Member Goehringer, seconded by Member Dantes, to authorize advertising of hearings for the next Regular Meeting to be held September 3, 2015 at 8:30 AM.Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted(3-0). Chairperson Weisman and Member Schneider were absent. B. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion offered by Member Goehringer, seconded by Member Dantes, to approve minutes from Regular Meeting held August 6, 2015.Vote of the Board: Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted (3-0). Chairperson Weisman and Member Schneider were absent. WORK SESSION: A. Requests from Board Members for future Agenda items. B. Member Dantes suggested training on FEMA compliance. POSSIBLE BOARD RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARING: SOUTHOLD FARM and CELLAR, INC. There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, Member Schneider declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 P.M.
