HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-12/05/2002 ‘) • Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on December 5, 2002, at the Park District office on Main Road, Mattituck, New York, with Chairman Chris Talbot, Gerard Goehringer and Waiter Sabat present,together with John Cushman, Treasurer . Absent due to weather, Madeline Haas, Secretary, and Gail. Faircloth, Gate Guard Attendant. in the absence of the Secretary, the minutes of the November meeting were tabeled. On motion of Chris Talbot, seconded by Gerard Goehringer and carried the following bills were ordered paid: AT&T $ 14.10 Family Farm 200.00 Island Portables 138.00 One Beacon 166.00 Mattituck Florist 178.96 Mattituck Glass & Mirror 10.00 LIPA 672.26 Mattituck Sanitation 7,665.00 Verizon 90.50 The State Insurance Fund 196.14 All Island Equipment Corp. 875.00 All Pro Auto Parts 103.36 CF Van Duzer Gas Service 276.21 Flaghouse 241.68 LIPA 33.71 Penny Lumber 194.36 Stoves & Stones, Ltd. 1,716.00 Russell Nine 890.00 Total $13,661.28 The Commissioners set December 14, 2002, at 12 Noon as the date for the help luncheon at Elbow 2, Laurel, New York. The Commissioners discussed the three bids received on November 29, 2002 for the construction of a new building at the Veterans' Park site. On motion of Gerry Goehringer, seconded by Chris Talbot and carried , the Commissioners approved and accepted the bid of Bob Grigonis Contracting,LLC in the sum of$314,000.00 less adjustment for demolition of$7500.00, making the final bid figure $306,500.00.. .1. • January organizational meeting is set for January 9, 2003. Gerard Goehringer cannot be present at the February meeting. On motion made by Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Chris Talbot, and carried, the Commissioners approved Indemnification Form in lieu of insurance or with Insurance Form without proper notification. No further business to come before the meeting, on motion of Chris Talbot, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried,the meeting was adjourned.
