I. Call to Order:

II. Approval of Minutes:
August 19, 2014
The minutes of August 19, 2014 were approved unanimously.
III. Old Business
Resolution to approve the Asch project (Nancy Steelman, Architect) with changes
requested by the commission.
Proposed additions and alteration to an existing single
family dwelling at 290 Skippers Lane, Orient. Suffolk County Tax Map # 1000-25-1-1
Resolution passed unanimously.

IV. New Business
Riverhead/Southold Joint Corridor Project:
Prep for upcoming informational meeting,
September 18, 2014. 00-25-1-1
Richard Wines, Chairman of the Riverhead Landmarks Preservation

Commission, and Southold Town Councilman William Ruland were on hand for
the discussion.
Commission members discussed the corridor project, in detail, to prepare
o
themselves for any questions that property owners may pose at the upcoming
public information meeting at the Southold Town Human Resource Center
coordinated by Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell.
Commissioners agreed to discuss the issue further at their next meeting.
