Landmark Preservation Commission Minutes

Southold Town Hall Annex Conference Room
Attendees:
James Grathwohl, James Garretson, Doug Constant, Gary Parker, Anne Surchin, and
Larry Jungblut.
Call to Order & Approval of Minutes:
Meeting was called to order and minutes from the January 15, 2012 meeting passed unanimously.
New Business:
A public hearing was held regarding an application to make additions and alterations to an
existing garage at 2395 Village Lane, in Orient. After the project was presented, the hearing was
closed and commissioners voted unanimously to approve the project as applied for.
Commissioner Anne Surchin presented fellow commissioners with possible legislation that would
temporarily preserve historic buildings that may be in danger of being demolished.
