HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
"This house and a barn are shown on the 1838 map. when
,owned by Truman. On the 1858 map, it is a Truman house;_
on 1873. 'Dermott; in 1897, L.H. Rackett; in 1906, J.
DallettJin 1909, Mrs. John Dallett; and ,'in ;1.929 it
was owned by Gillespie, a$ it is today. This very o+d
house is' of special .interest ,because the Truman prop
erty included historic Truman's ' Beach. (EM-65) ~ ",
